Catrice has a new highlighter out! And it is actually quite stunning. When I did my first impression I wasn’t super impressed, but I have used it a few times since then and I am liking this one. Meet the Catrice All Over Glow Tint highlighter in 020 Keep Blushing.

The promise on this highlighter is that you can use it for cheeks, eyes and lips. I have used it on my eyes and on my cheeks but I only like this as a face highlighter. For the eyes and lips I find this formula too thin and drying so it can be a tad uncomfortable or it just straight up disappears. Yet I think this can be pretty as a topper for that sheer layer of some added glow.
Catrice All Over Glow Tint highlighter 020 Keep Blushing
The All Over Glow Tint is part of Catrice’s newest Spring/ Summer 2023 makeup collection. It retails for €4.69, which means you get a liquid highlighter for under €5 which is a great price. It comes in three shades of which 020 Keep Blushing is the only more cool toned option. The other two shades are a gold and a bronze.
What does this highlighter have to offer?

Let me first explain why I wasn’t wowed by this upon first application. When I first tried it on camera, I wasn’t impressed as I found it thin and it barely showed up.
However, now that I have used it a few times it seems to be more opaque and more impactful. I therefore suspect the formula has some oil in that can separate and therefore dilute the intensity of the shade upon the first few applications.
That said, it still looks a bit lackluster in this swatch and also on the cheeks. However, I am also wearing it in the video that will be going live later today. So if you want you can see it ‘live in action’ there.
How does this apply to the cheeks?

My main reason for picking the pinky shade was because it looked more cool toned, but I feel it is more of a rose gold rather than an icy pink. There is definitely some warmth there.
On the cheeks, it can sometimes look like it is breaking up the foundation underneath. I have found this is again more likely when you first start using this due to there being some more oil in the product.
So I think when you buy this, you may have to give it a bit of a squeeze or shake before you first apply it. That way you can get the product at full intensity from the start.
Should you buy the Catrice All Over Glow Tint highlighter?

I wouldn’t say this is a must have. It is pretty but I have other liquid highlighters I certainly like more. This has a nice, high shine finish that looks great on the skin.
So while pretty it just isn’t very unique in terms of the vast majority of makeup out there. Not even at a drugstore price point.
Is this a good liquid highlighter? Yes. Do you need to run out to get it? No. This isn’t a standout product in the new Catrice 2023 Spring/ Summer makeup update.
