Yes Yes Yes! Essence didn’t just come out with a cream bronzer, but they have released a blush that comes in the same line. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the Essence Baby Got Bronze bronzer. Will I love the Baby Got Blush cream blush as much?
Cream blush and bronzer is everywhere at the moment I think and to find them by an affordable brand like Essence makes for a super pleasant surprise. What’s even more, at this price point it is an absolute steal as well. So even though the product may be a bit cheap looking, like the bronzer, it is very much worth it.
Review: Essence Baby Got Blush 10 Tickle Me Pink
Let’s discuss that price point first then shall we? At €2.95 this cream blush stick is one of the most affordable ones I have ever tried. When I bought mine I could only find this one shade, but there seem to be two more available. So if you are not into this cool toned bright pink, you may still be able to find something to your liking in the line up.
What does this cream blush have to offer?
Like the bronzer, this Baby Got Blush cream blush isn’t anything too fancy. So this is not a product for those of us who are like magpies and just adore beautiful packaging. In fact, the packaging just feels really cheap on these. The cap feels it might snap in half really easily and the product is very light. Great for travel, but not the most aesthetic product on the market.
What does this blush swatch like?
But we should never judge a book by its cover and this blush is one that is stunning on. It has a rich and creamy formula that stays put and on my dry/ dehydrated skin this lasts all day. I hardly ever experience fading of cheek products so I can’t really say too much about it.
What I love is how easy this is to blend. I warm up the stick on my fingers and just dab it on! It works marvelously well and I love the bright pink shade. If you love the look of the Dior Rosy Glow ‘fresh-in-from-the-cold’ look then this is one that you will like!
What does this blush look like on the face?
As I mentioned this is a very bright pink. I love myself a cool toned pink like this, especially in the winter time, but this can be worn year round of course. At the end of the day it all comes down to preference. On my skin with a cool to neutral undertone shades like this just always look great no matter what I wear.
Should you buy the Essence Baby Got Blush cream blush?
At a mere €2.95 a piece this is an absolute winner of a product. I love the shade, I love the formula, I love the texture and I love how long this wears. This is a very pretty and fresh looking blush that I think can appeal to many people. And that affordable price point is all the more helpful. It may be good to note that this does have a fake plastic-y kind of smell at first but it disappears very quickly and doesn’t linger.
In short, the Essence Baby Got… range that was released for Spring/ Summer 2023 is a winner in my book. I loved the bronzer and I loved the blush as well. I love finding a drugstore gem and where Essence sometime just gets it plain wrong, this time they have definitely gotten something very right. Well done Essence!
