If a BB cream looks this cute, we have to review it right? That’s what I thought anyway. I really had no other incentive than that and of course the wish to try out a bunch of K-beauty BB creams. Because K-beauty can do some good makeup and this one is another stunning product.

Did you know BB creams were some of the first foundation like products I fell in love with? Before that I never wore any foundation or base product save for a bit of concealer. So it was truly BB creams that made me expand my makeup routine and I am returning to my first one true love with a bunch of BB cream reviews in the upcoming weeks.
Review: Elizavecca Milky Piggy BB Cream
Like all BB creams I bought this through Yesstyle. They have the widest selection of K-beauty products AND the shipping and handling fees aren’t terrible. At full price this BB cream retails for around €10 which is a steal. Currently it is on sale and retails for €7.85.
What does this product promise to do?

As far as BB creams go I have always loved how it fuses a base product with skincare properties and SPF. This product contains ingredients to help with fine lines, has brightening agents and it should clear up your skin. Additionally it contains an SPF 50 sunscreen as well. This should give a decent amount of coverage but without it looking cakey.
What does this product swatch like?

So it may be good to know that this product comes in just one shade and it is light. In fact, even on my skin tone the brightening effect makes it look a bit too pale. So if you have deeper skin than me this may not be for you.
Apart from the shade match I thought this was a very successful product. You only need a little bit and it is a thicker, creamier texture that is best spread out with fingers before working it into the skin with a brush.
It doesn’t have a noticeable scent and I loved how this wore throughout the day. It is longlasting, doesn’t look cakey and has a slight glowy finish. It covers everything I need to and just worked as a great base layer for anything that needs to go on top.
What does this look like on the face?

Here you can see the coverage and the texture once it is on my dry/ dehydrated skin. As you can see, this looks natural yet it covers up all my redness. I feel this looks very pretty on. It still looks like skin but it creates the perfect base for applying the rest of your makeup.
Should you buy the Elizavecca Milky Piggy BB Cream?

I think this is a lovely BB cream but it isn’t for everyone. Because this is only available in one shade, who can use this will be very limited. I am sure this is intended to be one of those ‘universal’ shades that should adapt to everyone’s skin tone, but like one size fits all clothing, it just never quite works like that.
However, with how pretty this product is on the skin, I am tempted to still say you can give this a whirl. This a great formula and I will definitely be revisiting this myself. The texture may be better for the fall/ winter than the summer time though. This is a lovely product though that I know I will enjoy for a long time.
