We are continuing the BB Cream trial but we are changing things up. Because we are travelling to a different country for this one! That’s right, today we are reviewing the Isehan Kiss Me BB Cream, which isn’t from Korea, it’s from Japan.
My main reason why I wanted to try this is because when BB creams first exploded onto the scene for me, this was one of the ones that I heard a lot of great things about. So let’s go on a trip and see what J-beauty makeup has to offer.

At the minute Yesstyle doesn’t have this on sale, but when I placed my order I did get money off. And yes, I again got this through Yesstyle as they simply have the best offerings when it comes to Asian makeup brands. J-beauty is also part of their selection and I just thought I could switch it up. At €17 this isn’t super expensive and it also isn’t super cheap.
What does this product have to offer?
When looking into BB creams it may be difficult to figure out what it might do, so buying this was a bit of a gamble. It should give a natural glow, have good coverage and have a multi-purpose formula that moisturizes the skin while also concealing everything.
In the swatch you can see this has a lovely glowy finish. With just a small drop I was able to cover the back of my hand just fine. That means that a little goes a long way with this. I personally love a lighter coverage and so I was curious to see what it would do on the skin.
What is the coverage like?
So the past week has been crazy weather wise. However, I felt this BB cream was lightweight and easy to use. It definitely needs proper blending, which is something I didn’t do a very good job of in this before and after video. That’s why it looks patchy on my nose.
However, if we compare these two pictures you can see clearly that it covers up my redness with no problems. My skin tone is more evened out and we have a good base to apply the rest of the makeup. Bonus point: it feels so lightweight that I barely notice wearing this at all, even in the heat.
What is the shade match like?
As with many BB creams there aren’t many shades available. In fact, there are just two. This is the lightest one, which is shade 1, but I find it looks great. It blends down my neck well enough and while it is a bit too yellow toned, the lightweight texture makes up for it, making it a very forgiving product.
Should you buy the Isehan Kiss Me BB cream?
This hasn’t beaten what I am thinking will be my favorite of the 10 BB creams I am trying out for an upcoming video, but it definitely comes close. The way this has held up on days with 30 degree (celcius) weather while sweating my booty off in a yoga class or dancing the night away has been impressive.
Secondly, this product has such a great texture that you don’t even notice your are wearing anything. This never feels heavy, it doesn’t look cakey and the glowy finish means this makes you skin look healthy and natural.
This was definitely an unexpected one as I was thinking that I wouldn’t love this. I thought it would be too yellow, but it definitely works well and I have been loving this for the warmer days. A great summer time option to keep in my makeup collection for sure.
