Odacité Eye Contour Serum review

Sometimes you just find the best deals. A while ago I placed an order on Cult Beauty and when you hit a certain threshold, you’d get a free goodie bag filled with skincare. Many of those were trial or travel sizes, but there were also some full sized items. The Odacité Eye Contour serum was one of the full sizes in the bag and I love it!

Since this was a free gift with purchase I didn’t know too much about this going in. I would never have picked this up with my own money if I hadn’t tried it before. But what I love about this is how it is a great eye serum for the day time that battles any puffiness.

Skincare Review: Odacité Eye Contour Serum Concentrate (Baobab + Sarsaparilla) with Roller

But this being a Cult Beauty product means this was an expensive product. At €48 for an eye serum I think this may very well be the most expensive eye serum I have ever tried. But it works so that is all that matters. Inside you’ll find a rollerball which will help with depuffing and I love using this in the morning for that reason.

What does this product have to offer?

This product has a lot of claims. It is apparently made with pure seed extracts and oils and can adapt to your skin’s everchanging needs. It is lightweight and easily absorbed and doesn’t contain any preservaties. This is formulated to work on the delicate ey area.

Additionally this contains ingredients to help against the signs of aging while also working against puffinesse and brighten dark circles. It is recommended to apply this on damp skin and pat it in before applying moisturizer.

This is the list of ingredients:

Highest-grade cold-pressed certified virgin wildcrafted Baobab (Adansonia digitata) seed oil, Sarsaparilla, Palmarosa, Lavender, Neroli, Roman chamomile, Sandalwood, Geranium, Bisabolol (Hemidesmus indicus, Cymbopogon martinii, Lavandula angustifolia, Citrus aurantium, Anthemis nobilis, Santalum spicatum, Pelargonium graveolens, Vanillomopsis erythropappa) essential oils, Certified GMO free Vitamin E (Tocopherols) oil.

What is my experience using this?

I have really loved using this. This is very effective against puffiness in the morning and that’s why I like it. I have used products like this in the past but they eventually made my undereye area too dry and this one doesn’t do that. Additionally: a little goes a long way. This is a small bottle but I have been using this for months and it’s still not running out. In terms of getting bang for your buck I think this product is definitely up there.

Should you buy the Odacité Eye Contour serum?

I don’t think this is a must have in your skincare routine though. I love this and would consider repurchasing this as I feel it is good value for money and because I like to use this only in the morning. It is simply not rich enough for my dryness for a night time routine. So if you want something that is more moisturizing, I would not recommend this.

However, if like me, you struggle with darkness, puffiness and you want your eyes to look awake instantly and you find that most eye creams make your makeup crease when you apply it afterwards, the this may be a good one to try. This works well, it does what I need it to do and that’s why it’s worth it to me.
