A little over a month ago I wrote a post about my favorite work out songs. Since I dance and generally work out to music there are plenty of songs that I could list here. However, these are the last two songs I’ve been dancing to at dance class and I’ve had both on repeat ever since.
Lady Gaga – Government Hooker
We usually switch up routines and songs every 2 – 3 weeks. Depending on how much we like the routine and how much time it takes to learn it. When listening to this particular Lady Gaga song never stood out. But now… My dance teacher introduced us to it last week with the words: let’s do some commercial sexy routine… Think: the average moves La Brit, Gaga and Rihanna display in the majority of their music videos. It’s raunchy, but fun.
Rihanna – Red Lipstick
At hip hop class we’ve been dancing to this one. The song is from Rihanna’s latest album and since we’ve been dancing to quite a bit of Rihanna in that class I’m thinking this may actually be quite a good album. I’m loving the dubstep vibe of this song. Again, the routine that goes with this isn’t for the faint of heart. If you listen to the lyrics: do you right there while the whole world’s watching, this song is possibly dirtier than the Gaga one. So that’s what the routine is like too: nasty and dirty.
These would definitely be my current favorite songs to dance to. What are yours?

I switch music a lot! But at this moment my favorites are:
Woodkid – iron
The XX – intro
Jay-Z & Kanye – no church for the wild
Radio Killer – don’t let the music end
They are all different songs that make me want to dance. One for every mood π
Ooooh! I LOOOVE XX! Will check out the other songs.
