30 Day Make Up Challenge #2: Purple

Day 2 of the 30 Day Make Up Challenge calls for a purple look. And when I saw this gorgeous by MUA, I just knew it was what I would be using to create this look. I made this look before I went to work and I was in a bit of a hurry and my eyeliner had a bit of a mishap. So I tried solving it by adding more eyeshadow over the top and I really liked the effect it gave. It’s a simple look, but with enough oomph to make it interesting, because of that magnificent purple color.

As you can see the purple is pretty out there. Since I have fairly deep set eyes though, eyelooks always disappear. But I like the effect here, where head on you just see a bit of purple lining my eyes and then when I look down you get that full on purple with a magnificent blue shade. And then to think that this eyeshadow cost only 1 pound!

As you can see a pretty full on purple there. I used some other purples as well to not just have one blob of the same color on my lid and that is black eyeliner that you see. I went with a fairly neutral pinky lip and cheek to make sure the purple would definitely pop.
