It has been quite nice weather here these past few days. It’s chilly but the sun has been peeping through every so often which instantly makes day time temperatures much more bearable. But that also means that spring is on its way and so a winter to spring transition lookbook is in place. All of these outfits feature pieces that I don’t think I ever showed you before in an outfit. They are all super casual and these are all outfits I would throw on instantly.
1.) A hint of galaxy
Black sweatshirt (H&M)
Galaxy/ geometric print pencil skirt (Asos)Black tights (Hema)
Black faux suede pumps (Van Haren)
Geometric statement necklace (Primark)
Nothing beats a pencil skirt when you have a good deal of curves like I do. I paired the rather dressy skirt with a more casual basic sweatshirt to tone it down and add some interest. The skirt itself is a riot. From top to bottom, this skirt is printed in the brightest, in your face, geometric galaxy print. There are yellows, reds, purples, blues: it looks like an galaxy explosion. In order to do the skirt justice I kept the rest very basic. I wanted it to pop and referred to the geometric print on the skirt by pairing it with a geometric necklace too.
2.) Cute meets cow
Lace button down shirt with peter pan collar (Cooperative by Urban Outfitters)
Faux leather two-tone monochrome circle skirt (River Island)
Cow print plimsolls (Asos)
Pairing the lace shirt with the circle skirt would make this a very cutesy type of outfit. Of course a black high heel would go perfectly with this outfit, but I wanted to add a fun factor and thus opted for these flat cow print plimsolls. It adds a surprising element, makes the outfit more fun and ties in the white & black of the rest of the outfit. I did not pair this with any extra accessories because I felt that between the lace, the cow print and the white at the bottom of this skirt, there was enough going on already.
3.) Baby baby blue
Baby blue cardigan (H&M)
White v-neck t-shirt (Forever 21)
Grey acid wash Second Skin jeans (Cheap Monday)
Black leather pointed toe booties with snake print back (Invito)
Black tooth necklace (Six)
Spring is the perfect time to bring out some pastels and this baby blue cardigan is perfect for brightening up an outfit while still keeping warm. I paired it with a white t-shirt for some extra brightness and had it peter out into darker shades toward the bottom. The jeans I’m wearing are by Cheap Monday and I bought these for 15 euros when I was in Denmark last summer. They’re an actual dream to wear and super comfortable. The shoes are my most recent purchase and were on sale at more than half price.
4.) Perky pink
Pink floral flock skater dress (Club L via Asos)
Grey marbled flowy cardigan (Sparkle and Fade via Urban Outfitters)
Grey tights (Hema)
Grey mary jane pumps (Sacha)
Belt (H&M)
Silver statement necklace (Primark)
A dress that I was dying to show you in a lookbook, is this pink dress. It is one of my favorites, because it is so different from anything else that I own. For one, it is pink. Secondly, it is made of a very thick, almost tapestry feeling material that is super thick and warm. And finally, the cut is absolutely perfect for my body shape. I usually pair this dress with greys or black to complement the color and make it pop more. It is a perfect dress for cooler spring days as it is thick and paired with a cardigan, I’ve worn this even in the middle of winter at times.
5.) If I were a boy…
Grey pilled t-shirt (H&M)
Blue & red checked shirt (H&M)
Boyfriend jeans (H&M)
Red sneakers (Nike)
Coil necklace (H&M)
Yep, this girl still loves her H&M and this outfit shows it. Apart from the red Nike sneakers, all items are from H&M. However, I have had all of them for some time, so I don’t think you will still be able to find these exact ones, but H&M will have comparable items out now. For spring I love wearing my boyfriend jeans. I own two pairs: this one by H&M and a lighter more beat up version by Guess. They are so comfy to wear and all you need is to throw on a t-shirt and a checked shirt on top, add a fun sneaker and you have the perfect outfit for the ultimate casual, manly look.
What outfits do you like to wear now that the weather seems to be turning?

De ”a hint of galaxy” is definitely mijn favorite! Leuk stukje!
Thanks π De rok is echt een statement piece en daar hou ik wel van.
Leuk artikel! De eerste outfit is mijn favoriet.
Dank je :-). Die combi is stiekem ook mijn favoriet.
[…] This skirt is quite possibly one of the girliest items I own. It flares out from the waist and will give a flirty edge to any outfit you wear. River Island isn’t the cheapest, which is why this skirt fits in a ‘skirts worth every penny’ blog post. The material is actually very nice. The black is a supple faux leather and the white rim is made of a slightly sturdier material. This leads the skirt to flare out and retain its shape. I am wearing this skirt in this blog post. […]
