For the past few weeks I’ve been doing a good job getting myself to the gym and clocking in some serious workouts. One of my workouts consists of weight lifting and core exercises followed by some stretching. It’s the only workout I do that does not involved a class or group of people and so I am left to my own devices to arrange a suitable soundtrack for said workout. I have a few hundred songs on my Ipod that I take with me to the gym and today I will be sharing my favorite songs with you. There are some indie gems, some older dance tracks, and some fun R&B tracks that take me back to my hiphop dance class days. Give them a listen and perhaps you can find something to spice up your own workout playlist.
A. G. Cook – Beautiful
Architecture In Helsinki – I Might Survive
Beyonce – End Of Time
Bronze Whale – Weird Dark Things (ft. Khai)
Camille Jones – The Creeps (Dance Radio edit)
Crookers – Knobbers
Grimes – Go Feat. Blood Diamonds
Joe Budden – Fire
Jungle – Busy Earnin’
Kelis – Forever Be
KiTheory – Open Wound ODESZA Remix
Lorde – Tennis Court Flume Remix
Sylvan Esso – Could I Be
Thief – Closer
Touch Sensitive – Slowments
I have been listening to these and tons of other tracks for some months now and I’m actually getting quite bored with it. So it’s time for me to create a new playlist. Please leave a comment down below if you think you can help me out and answer the following two questions:
What songs would you recommend for a workout playlist? What are your favorites?
