Do you ever make fashion combos that you know are just perfect? I do. Of course there are the basic, straight forward pairings of jeans and a t-shirt or a sweater, but the fun part about fashion is those more out there combos that you can make. I certainly like to have some fun with my clothes and sometimes that means I look wacky, but at other times I create outfits that are keepers. These are 5 of my favorites.

1.) Pastel neons
I wore this first outfit in one of my first ever lookbooks. So if you would like to see this on, you can see that here. I can’t remember how this outfit came about because all the pieces were bought at separate times. I just threw it one some day and it has been a staple in my wardrobe. The peach neon sweater is H&M, as is the mint green sleeveless blouse. The shoes are Underground creepers which I got from Urban Outfitters. The pastel tie dye, almost galaxy feel leggings are from River Island.
2.) Casual stripes
A jeans & t-shirt combo is a classic, but I love to always think it through a little bit more. I don’t always, but if I want to create an outfit that looks like I am not trying too hard, I will wear this black jeans and baggy stripy top combo. Paired with black converse that are completely battered, adds to the casualness of the look. But to still add a bit of color and sophistication back in, I usually wear this with a faux red coral necklace. Jeans are Topshop Jamie jeans. The top is from H&M a few years ago. I got the necklace from a friend.
3.) Fall time prep
In general, I like wearing preppy looks. I like a closely buttoned up shirt, tucked into a skirt, combined with a pair of manly brogues. It is the perfect blend of masculine and feminine pieces that just works for me. It also makes for a nice retro vibe. Sheer pale yellow blouse and forest green flared out skirt are both from Asos. The brogues are from Ebay.
4.) Tough in burgundy
Another outfit that I wore before in a blog, is this burgundy dress/ beige & faux leather blazer combo. I wore it with a different pair of shoes, though. And that is one reason why I like this look: just by changing up the shoes, you can create a slightly different look. Yet, with this combo, I always like to opt for a tough looking shoe. Be it biker boots or studded brogues, this look calls for a bit of an edge. Dress & blazer: H&M. The studded brogues are from Zara.
5.) Dressed up reds
Red is one of my favorite colors to wear. My favorite fashion item to wear in this gorgeous color? A dress of course! This dress is a sturdy material skater dress with seams along the bodice that flare out into pleats around your waistline. It is super flattering and I like pairing it with a chunky necklace, cut out boots and a fluffy black cardigan. Of course you can also wear this with a pair of heels to keep things more classy. Dress & cardigan are both from H&M. The necklace is from Primark, the boots are from New Look.
What is your favorite outfit?
Wat een leuke setjes! Vooral de derde vind ik heel erg pretty, ik ben dol op dat preppy stijltje <3
There are days for looking preppy and there are days for looking casual. Dat is mijn motto.
