Week in outfits #3

Now that it is spring, I thought it would be time to share with you some outfits again. Rather than a lookbook, I thought it would be good to show you some actual outfits again. These outfits I wore all throughout last week. I went to work, ran some errands, went to a birthday party and had a chill day at home. This is what I wore!

Week in outfits #3

7 days… 7 outfits

Monday 11 April 2016

Dress: Vila
Booties: New Look
Cardigan: H&M

On Monday I decided to go with a dress. I wore a black and white color blocked dress with a bright neon colored floral pattern that I bought last year. I hadn’t had a chance to wear it yet though, but now it was perfect. I muted it down with a black crochet cardigan, semi-sheer black tights and black booties. Simple, but still a good outfit for spring because of the bright pattern.

Blouse: Asos
Jeans: TopshopHeels: New Look

Day 2 of the week I was trying something different. I wore a boho style 70s inspired nude blouse. It has a peter pan collar, a string tie and bell sleeves. It has a very baggy fit, so I wore it with super skin tight black jeans. These are the Topshop Leigh jeans. I wore a pair of brown Chelsea boots with this outfit on my way to work, but once I got there, I swopped them for a pair of tan tassled, loafer style heels. A bit experimental and not necessarily my style, but I like trying out new things.

Dress: Asos
Shoes: Dr. Marten’s

Time for another dress! I try to change up my outfits throughout the week and alternate between dresses/ skirts and pants. Today was another dress day. I wore this A-line striped dress that I bought last year. I paired it with black sheer tights and my black patent leather Dr. Marten’s. Since that day was a super warm day, I could forego wearing a cardigan on top. I did add a bright lip, for some added color, but that is not in the picture.

Thursday 14 April 2016

Blouse: H&M
Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: Converse

On my day off, I wore a very casual and relaxed outfit. I decided to wear my new red Converse All Stars sneakers. I coordinated those with my lipstick, which is the Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in 69. The rest of the outfit was again monochrome. I wore my black Leigh jeans again (I typically wear a pair of jeans on multiple days before I wash them) and wore a cream flannel on top. To make the shirt more spring appropriate, I left the top buttons open and wore a black cami underneath.

Friday 15 April 2016

Blouse: H&M
Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: Sacha

For the last day of work, I wore another more business casual outfit. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday I conducted selection interview with students at work, so I dressed up a little more than usual for that occasion. I wore a pink blouse to add some much needed color in the day as it was a cold and dreary one (welcome to spring in Holland). I again wore my black Leigh jeans (they are so comfy!) and paired it with my polka dot flats. Unfortunately I had to throw away the shoes at the end of the day. I hadn’t worn them in a while and as I wore them they just started to fall apart.

Saturday 16 April 2016

Shirt: Topshop
Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: Converse

Time for the weekend! My dad celebrated his birthday, so I traveled across the country to spend some quality time with my family. I wore another jeans combo, but this time I opted for a thin sweater instead of a blouse. I decided to try combining my thin sweater obsession with a new pair of jeans you may have seen in my spring fashion haul. This is a very Topshop oriented outfit: both the sweater and the jeans are from there. The jeans are the Topshop Jamie jeans in Dark Ink. I’m totally in love with this deep blue shade and I think the stripes and the shoes make this a fun, simple outfit.

Sunday 17 April 2016

Top: H&M
PJ bottoms: Primark

Sunday was the day I returned home. I initially wore the jeans and shoes with the top I am wearing in this picture. But as soon as I was home, I swapped my jeans for PJ pants. Because Sunday’s are for chilling out. The top is another one of those thin long sleeved sweaters that I love. I find that they have been coming in especially handy now the weather is so fickle. They keep you nice and warm, while not overheating you too much.

What do you wear throughout a week?
