Since I last posted one of these, which was at the end of March, life has been full of bumpy rides. I became an auntie, traveled to Orlando, continued my house hunt and was incredibly busy at work. I also threw in some beauty bits and that pretty much sums up what I’ve been up to these 6 weeks or so.

You will already have read my full account of my work trip to Orlando so I’m not going to say too much about it. But that grin on my face pretty much tells it all, doesn’t it?
April meant lots and lots of house hunting again. I spent quite some days off, weekends and late afternoons and early mornings scouring Rotterdam for a new place to live. Here’s to hoping this will be a scene I set eyes upon a lot more come fall time.
Blue metallic lips. One day I was bored and decided to just give it a go. Not something I will wear to work any time soon, but it was worth the experiment.
Urban Decay After Dark finally arrived on my doorstep. I have been very selective with my make up buying habits lately, but I just couldn’t pass this up. I mean, the packaging!! Just… ah… You can read a full review of the palette here.
Hogwarts! Yes, my trip to Orlando also took me to Universal Studios Resort. Just goes to show that dreams do come true.
I’ve been playing around with the idea of dying my hair orange or pastel/ peach yet again. Ever since a friend suggested it would look great on me, I have been thinking about it. I just have never been brave enough to actually do it. Maybe this year?
I decluttered my nail polish. This is a glorious mount of over 350 polishes. I am now down to just over 200. And yes, I filmed the entire ordeal. Up on the blog on Sunday!
Did I already say I became an auntie? This little beauty is Jill. Here’s she’s just a day old, but by now she’s almost 2 months old. How time flies!
A bit of a random beauty haul thrown into the mix. I carefully hand picked a few items to try out at the beginning of April. I already reviewed the foundation here and compared it to the old formula.
When fireworks are so intense, even your phone camera takes a decent picture. Wishes @ Magic Kingdom.
The Essence Blossom Dreams collection was one of the few limited editions Essence has brought out in a while that caught my attention. All products have surprisingly good quality. Full review here.
I dug out my floral pants to see if they would fit me again (after 3 years or not being able to put them on!) for my pink for spring lookbook. They were so comfortable I instantly kept them on after filming that. Watch it here.
One of my favorite reviews that I did in a long time, involved these Bite lipsticks. I love raving about products I love and these Bite lipsticks are simply aces. Read the review here.
After months of running around (mostly work related) my body decided in the latter half of March to call things quits for a while. I caught a flu, followed by a severe cold and was out for more than a week. My remedy when I’m ill? Watch Disney movies!
Last but not least, I also reorganized my eyeshadow palettes a little bit to fit them better into my storage unit. If you are curious to see how I store the rest of my make up, then watch Sunday’s video where I show you all.
What have you been up to lately?
