Lately I have been very much into wearing jackets and blazers. The style of jacket I love to wear most are bomber jackets. They add a very fun and casual vibe to any outfit, while keeping you warm at the same time. I also love how versatile they are. I love using a bomber jacket as the center piece of an outfit. So the ones I have are all quite statement. I decided to show you 5 different outfits with a bomber jacket.
How I wear bomber jackets
In this first outfit I have created a very simple outfit. It’s just a jacket, a t-shirt, jeans and a pair of brogue. The star of the show is of course the jacket. It is a metallic, silver number that I bought from Costes about a year or two ago. The jeans are a deep blue wash of my trusty Topshop Jamie jeans to really clash against the brightness of the jacket. I paired it with a basic H&M t-shirt and then to clash with the silver of the jacket, I have added a pair of dark green Clarks. I like how the green complements the silver.
Outfit number 2 features a very fun jacket that you will be seeing again very soon as I actually wore it this week and took a picture of it. What makes this ZARA bomber so special is the velvet texture with a sports luxe touch and a floral embroidered applique on the back. I paired it with a basic shirt and skirt and a pair of ASOS over the knee boots. The skirt is from Forever 21. The boots are great to wear in the fall time as they keep your legs nice and warm.
I love pairing these jackets with a pair of jeans, so that’s what this outfit does as well. But this time the jacket is a very light colored one with a lace and floral pattern to it and a faux leather trim. I like wearing this jacket with slightly lighter colors in general as I prefer wearing this one in the spring time. The jacket is from Mango, the jeans are another pair of Jamie jeans and the shoes are H&M. I like how the shoes pair with this outfit: they have a bit of a heel and add a bit of interest to the overall look.
My obsession with bomber jackets started with this ZARA jacket. It has a satin look to it and is embroidered all over with a Japanese cherry blossom design and some birds. It is black and I like to wear this jacket with an all black outfit. That is not something I usually go for, but I feel it is the best way to truly showcase the jacket. So I wear this with a black t-shirt, a black pair of dress pants by H&M and some pointed toe leather boots, also by H&M.
Finally, I have another spring outfit for you. It features another ZARA jacket: I really like their jackets to really add a pop of interest and so I don’t buy them often, but when I find one I like, I buy it and hang on to it. This jacket I have had for years and I still love it. Since the colors are bright and quite in your face, I love wearing a basic white tee and a pair of light wash straight leg jeans (again Topshop, but these are Binx). This jacket can easily be dressed up but here I have made it more casual by adding a pair of Nike Thea Air Max sneakers.
