Trying on all my cardigans

I LOVE CARDIGANS! And I am therefore very happy that they are all the rage at the moment. Cardigans have been a staple for me since as long as I can remember and so I am glad that more people are now on board with the idea of wearing them. To me, cardigans are the workhorses in my wardrobe as they are easy to chuck on, make for great layering pieces and are THE item if you want to transition your wardrobe between different seasons. Thin cardigans are perfect for throwing over a sleeveless dress in the summer time, while a thicker knit can take any outfit into the winter time. Added bonus point: they can easily be taken off if you get too hot and put back on when you get cold. In short, a cardigan is a staple that I think should make an appearance in everyone’s wardrobe. To help you understand what is out there, I thought I could show you all of mine. Let’s try on some cardigans.

  1. I’m definitely a cardigan gal! Not only are cardigans classic and go well with 50’s vintage, they are exactly what you said: keep you warm in a stylish way. I like that first one. Perry Como made those “grandpa” type cardigans popular in the 50’s. Young men wore them then and were totally in style! Today they’re mostly for old men and young women! I have 2 favorite cardis by MAC with kitty heads all over them. I’m wearing them out! I also have a ton of smaller, cropped ones that go over dresses in the summer time. Love your collection. Oh yeah, it would be awesome if you did a vid on all your dresses. I don’t wear dresses as much as I’d like to, but they’re always a favorite.
