Song Challenge 29 – A song from your childhood

This one was so easy to decide on. I have been liking music for as long as I can remember and I even remember liking certain songs when I was no more than 4 years old. According to my parents I had my first favorite song at the age of 2: Bronski Beat’s Tell Me Why. However, I don’t remember a thing about that. The first song I remember liking is Jackie Wilson’s Reet Petite (which I dubbed Reet Teet due to my lack of English). And when you see the 80s video, you will quickly realize why this song was appealing to my 4 year old self.

Jackie Wilson – Reet Petite:

Q: What was your favorite song when you were little?

  1. ^^ Oooh I love that windsurfing song! Cheers me right up! Oh and I used to imitate the Walk Like an Egyptian dance apparently. That would be my other childhood favorite I actually remember.
