I sometimes throw outfits together that I am quite pleased about, and when I do, I tend to want to show you guys. The other day I wore something that I think you might like too and so I figured I’d turn it into a post. The main feature is a high waisted dark blue a-line speckled skirt which I bought on sale at H&M last December. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very cooperative this winter, so I hadn’t had a chance to wear it yet. In order to make the skirt pop a bit more, I decided to add mustard/ cognac pieces for a bit of contrast as the color is also featured in the skirt. Since I had to go to class at university, I wanted to stay comfy and decided to tone down the girlyness of the skirt by adding a pair of biker boots. Here’s what it turned out to be:
As you can see the skirt has a midi length and a highwaist. The color of the shoes are a bit off, but I think they still go with this outfit quite nicely. My favorite item here must be the sweater. I love these simple knits from ZARA and I have them in multiple colors. This one is extra special to me, as the color is quite unique. It’s this golden toned mustard which I just love. Haven’t seen this color anywhere since!
I bought these on sale at Sasha. I don’t know if they still sell them though.
Here you have a better picture of the pattern and a close up of the belt. Isn’t the bow just the cutest?
I also would like to show you this quick brown eye look. I was going for a bit of a brown smokey eye. Products used: Make Up Designory palette, The Body Shop Shimmer Cube, Maybelline The Falsies Flared mascara.
Excuse the blurry pictures! It was an incredibly gray and depressing day so the light wasn’t the best.
What are you wearing today?
