Make Up Geek is a brand I had been curious about for some time now. When I spotted the full range on BeautyBay, I bought a few and reviewed them for you. I fell in love and decided to fill up the rest of my palette. Now, a few months later, I thought it would be fun to tell you about how I built my palette and show you swatches of all these beauties.
In addition to this video, I plan on doing full reviews on these shadows as well. Since there are quite a few (27 to be exact), I decided to break them up into 3 parts: neutrals, warm tones, cool tones. Each review will not only include swatches, but also my experience with these shadows as well as 3 make up looks per category. Since I had a mountain of eyeshadow to review, I still have to work my way through this palette. And I don’t like doing full reviews on shadows if I haven’t at least tried every shade on my lids.
So for now, we’ll just discuss the palette and gawk at swatches! I picked a few neutral tones for blending and building up looks. I then picked a plethora of warm and cool toned lid shades. Those vary in intensity and finish. I have 9 foiled eyeshadows, 2 duo chromes and the rest are mattes and shimmers from the regular range. To round up the palette I also threw in some colors and darker tones to add some depth and interest.

They are really good and you cannjust buy 2 or 3 at the time. Makes it less painful.
Ik vind jouw verslaving voor oogschaduw zo fantastisch!! Heerlijk al die palettes toch?
Haha ja en er staan ook een hele boel nog op de wishlist. 🙈
I’ve not tried any MUG products but I’ve got a long list of things to get. I’ll probably treat myself for my birthday in July but I’ll be definitely referring to your video and upcoming reviews.
My birthday is in July as well! It may be a while with those reviews. I still have to create all the looks.
Oh no rush. Your swatches are super helpful. 😀
[…] Up Geek do some amazing single eyeshadows. I already did a dedicated video to how I build my palette and the swatches of these shadows last year. But I never showed any looks […]
