When you see my full eyeshadow collection towards the end of the month you will think I own about every single eyeshadow palette under the sun. I don’t. I also pass up on palettes and sometimes I don’t decide to buy a palette until much later. A process that can sway me to buy or not to buy an eyeshadow palette is seeing the product in real life. Swatching it, seeing it, getting a feel for the product can definitely sway me to buy or not to buy a certain product. So that’s what we will be chatting about today.
How seeing eyeshadow palettes in real life did or didn’t sway me to buy them

I don’t think I can answer this one because I buy ALLL my makeup online! Ironically, I was just about to start shopping at Sephora at our mall so I could swatch stuff before purchasing it, then COVID hit, and everything closed. So I’m still shopping online! I think I would have not bought some palettes if I’d swatched them first and there’s probably some I’d have come home with if I’d seen them in store. Out of the ones in this vid, I have Too Faced Sweet Peach. It’s OK. Not my favorite. But some shades are good.
I wish I had a Sephora near me. Sadly I have to go abroad to even find one… so many brands we just don’t get…
But don’t feel too bad. I can’t get Lisa Eldridge without ordering outside of the US and there are a few other brands I want to try, but I don’t want to pay custom fees!
Lisa Eldridge actually ships from the US for US customers. They have different warehouses! At least she used to with her previous launches.
