Catrice can do a good bronzer. Their Holiday Skin range has been a favorite for some time now. I love their lighter version which was discontinued for the winter time. For summer, I prefer the deeper version. It will therefore be no surprise that I also enjoyed their Holiday Skin Bronze & Glow palette.

Review: Catrice Holiday Skin Bronze & Glow palette Out of Office
At around €5 this little palette is a steal. It has some good pigmentation, was not discontinued within a split second by the brand and is in fact still available. I no longer own mine as I found it too similar to the Charlotte Tilbury version which I prefer. But that doesn’t mean this isn’t good in its own right.
What does this product have to offer?
Let’s forget for a minute what this product is inspired by and review it on its own merit. I feel often when products look like other products it can be difficult for people in the online beauty community to pull those things apart. But even if the product isn’t the best dupe, that doesn’t mean it can’t still be a good product by itself.
This Catrice Bronze & Glow palette is still really good of its own right. The bronze is a bit better than the highlighter I feel as it has that same rich and creamy formula as the single bronzers do. The highlighter feels a bit less exciting but both blend easily and apply well to the face.
What does this look like in a swatch?
The bronzer feels smooth and creamy and in the palette it has a slight grey undertone which I love. However, shade wise I prefer the lighter version of the singles. That product was discontinued and replaced with this palette, but I still prefer that shade over this. The highlighter is a little bit yellow and a bit dry in a swatch but it applies beautifully to the face.
What does it look like on the face?
Above you can see my face without any product. Below I have blush, bronzer and highlight applied. And I like the look of this a lot. It looks natural on and it makes for a great everyday product. Here’s the thing: I don’t love a face palette as I feel it is less versatile than using singles. The bronzer is the best bit here but I love the shade in the singles better on me. The highlighter is nice but it’s nothing to write home about.
Should you buy the Catrice Holiday Skin Bronze & Glow?
This certainly is a beautiful product that looks stunning on once applied. However, for me it wasn’t a musthave. I just have things in my collection that are too similar in singles and therefore this just didn’t fill a hole in my overall bronzer offerings. And something tells me that this will not fill that hole for you either. Unless you are dying to try a Catrice bronzer and you are looking for a good offering for fair skin, this may be one you’d want to skip.
